LEIALOHA KAI is a part of the Kahana Village condominium complex. Each suite is owned and furnished by an individual owner. We hope you will enjoy the privileges and assume the responsibilities of an owner’s guest. Listed below are answers to questions we usually receive. Please let your host know if you have any further inquiries.
CHECK/CREDIT CARDS
Personal checks, Venmo and PayPal, are accepted for room accommodations PRIOR TO arrival.
CHECK-IN & OUT TIME
Check-in time is 3:00 pm, and Check-out is 10:00 am.
If this is inconsistent with your schedule, please contact us one day prior to your departure, and we may be able to extend the check-out time.
NO SMOKING
There is no smoking inside the unit. You may smoke out on the lanai and outside on the property; please use common courtesy.
JACUZZI
Hours are 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. OVEREXPOSURE CAN BE DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH. Please do not use this facility before or after the scheduled hours.
SWIMMING POOL
Pool hours are 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Please observe these hours. For the safety and comfort of others, we must say: no diving; no running or pushing; no rafts, large inflatables, or styrofoam boards; and no glass containers in the pool. Since there is no lifeguard, please keep in mind that the pool is used at your own risk, and small children must have an adult with them at all times.
NOISE
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please observe these hours as a courtesy to your neighbors.
GAS BARBECUES
Gas Barbecues are provided for your use and pleasure at the cabana area. To use, open the cover, turn on the gas, and push the igniter button to start. DO NOT USE CHARCOAL. Please shut off the gas and close the cover when finished.
GARBAGE
Garbage should be bagged and deposited in the dumpsters located within the enclosures at both ends of the parking lot.
RECYCLE
Recyclable items can be deposited in designated bins at the North and South Parking lots by the dumpster enclosure. We have four bins that recycle the following; aluminum, mixed paper, glass, and plastic containers.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Starter supplies are located in the welcome basket. PLEASE DO NOT DRY TOWELS OR SWIMWEAR ON LANAI RAILING. Beach towels are located in the living room basket.
INTERNET ACCESS
Complimentary wireless is provided. You will find the login instructions next to the livingroom TV. Enjoy!
AIRCONDITIONING
Please enjoy using the air conditioning as needed during your stay.
Kindly assist us in making sure it is used correctly:
- When using the AC close all windows, doors and sliders.
- Use the AC only in rooms you are currently using (each room has its own thermostat controller. Turn off when exiting room via the On/Off button.
- Feel free to adjust the temperature using up and down arrow.
- When you are leaving for the day or upon check-out, please ensure all systems are turned off.
WALKWAYS
Walkways, sidewalks, and parking areas must not be used for skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, bicycles, etc.
BEACHES
All beaches (including ours), up to the high-tide line are State property and open to the public – as long as you don’t trespass on fenced or posted property to get to them. There are many accessible secluded beaches on Maui, and it’s fun to seek them out. Kapalua Bay, one of the top 10 beaches in the world, and Napili Bay are within 1.5 miles of our property. Ka’anapali Beach, voted the #1 best beach 3 miles long, is located 6 miles from Kahana Village.
SECURITY SERVICE
For your protection, a security service patrols the grounds of Kahana Village nightly. We appreciate your cooperation with this service in doing your part to make Kahana Village a quiet, safe, and secure place to stay.
PROTECT YOUR VALUABLES
Please do not leave your jewelry, purses, backpacks, cameras, etc., in plain sight. Use the safe provided in the unit to lock up your valuables when you are away from the unit and at night. It is also recommended that you lock your doors when you are away and at night.
